I'm awfully glad I gave her that credit card number, because she ended up using it. FOrtunately, it's just an extra $300 and she will be home tonight. That's not so bad. A valuable life lesson learned: allow yourself enough time to change trains.

But not yet home. I received a call saying her plane landed in Atlanta, Georgia. She had about an hour layover and then heads home. We'll be picking her up at about 10:21 pm tonight. Can't wait! Poor girl, she'll be exhausted.

One sadness: due to train delays, although she went through King's Cross Station, she wasn't able to get out to take a picture at the wall for Platform 9 3/4. It'll have to wait until the next time she gets back.

Fiona is home! Jet-lagged and ravenous and sore from lugging her luggage across a bus, three trains, two planes and our car ride home, and so very, very dear.

Fiona is home!
