I have received hospital training in how to flush his PICC line. So far so good; he is riding the drugs that they give him to buffer the effects, but this chemo is much much worse when the buffering drugs wear off. We'll just have to see how it goes.

A decision has been made that we cannot put off the bathroom repair any longer, due to Rob's compromised immunity. We had a contractor in today who will give us a bid tomorrow. He says he can start in two weeks. The work will take six weeks. It is the only bathroom in the house.

I am trying not to panic about this, really.
