I read you because I'm trying to write fiction while also working a full-time job and raising a kid, so you're often talking about things that resonate with my life. (When your writing's going well, I think "hey, it's possible to write even with kids & day job!" And when your writing's going badly, I think "see, she's a pro, and she has trouble writing sometimes too; it's not just me!")
