Oh, my, that sounds good. I gave up sugar for Lent (before anyone tells me Lent is in March, I know: but then, I'm not Catholic, so I figure I can have it in October if I want) and today is a particularly sugar-wanting day for me.
OTOH, I think I've lost about 3 pounds in the last 11 days, so there are compensations for no sugar.
...by the dark chocolate side of the Force, eh? (Hmm, Does it have a chewy Tootsie Roll center? "One sweet to rule them all and in the darkness really pack the pounds on 'em.")
Funny, but about a year ago my "appreciation" for dark chocolate really increased. Don't know what that's about. I noticed about six years ago my toleration for hot (spicy hot, that is) food really went up, but I think that's due to killing my taste buds by smoking.
One thing I've always wondered about; why does semi-sweet chocolate make me sneeze?
I have been eating one square of dark chocolate every day, whenever I have the carbs and calories left at the end of the day. I figure that at the rate I'm going, I have a couple of months' worth of chocolate.
