Date: 2004-12-29 06:33 pm (UTC)Aceh, in Indonesia, has been the hardest hit of any area in this whole disaster (the epicentre was just off the coast), but due to the political situation there, most aid agencies have not been able to get access to the region.
As of today, Medecins Sans Frontiers/Doctors Without Borders has got eight medical personnel on the ground in Aceh and is coordinating an aid flight. This is the ONLY aid to have reached Aceh so far.
