Wow. It seems like someone in your family is always sick. My sympathies and best wishes.
I don't remember being sick so often as a child...Wow, I must really not remember being a kid...

Peg: Wasn't it about this same time last year that Fiona had those weird fevers? I am not sure, but it seemed to be early in the summer then too. I remember having such problems with the one of my girls who was the most prone to allergies, both pollen and food. I, too, get a fever whenever I get an ant or yellow deer fly bite. I hope that it is nothing serious. Bill runs a low grade temp whenever he starts to get dehydrated or his electrolytes get unbalanced. Is Fiona drinking enough water as the temperature heats up? I know that Minnesota doesn't get as hot as it does down here in Florida, but you and the girls do a lot of physical things which could use up moisture too. I hope she gets to feeling better soon and that you find out what the problem is so that it doesn't recur.

My kids had sensitive body temperatures too when they were young. One of them would pop up to 104 without batting an eye. It was scary, and often frustrating because whatever the cause wouldn't appear for a day or so. I will keep you and the girls in my prayers.

In this case, it's pretty straightforward. I brought home a nasty cold from work (caught it from a coworker who shares my cubicle) and now it's Fiona's turn.

It ws Delia who had all the fevers, btw.

My fever is 99.5 today. What does she have? Maybe we've got the same thing. It is draining and exhausting dealing with a fever that never goes away with no cause.

I believe it's just the cold I brought home from the office last week. She just has to tough it out.
