Date: 2005-08-16 07:14 pm (UTC)I once was (virtually) present when one person threatened another person, saying he would "rip off his leg and beat him with the wet end."
There was something about the details, there, that was quite remarkably vivid. I was appalled, and have always cherished the memory. :)
