Way to go, Jabbor Gibson.

Let's hope they don't arrest you.

Edited to add: Actually, I almost hope that they do. You will have no trouble whatsoever getting a pro bono attorney, and having the case thrown out of court, and you will probably end up with a college scholarship.

Technically, sure, he broke the law... but these are extreme, extreme circumstances and when it comes to saving lives, you do what you have to. And if they decide to prosecute... well, I don't have much but I'll gladly donate a little bit to any legal expenses he may have. Did he do the legal thing? No. Did he do the right thing? Hell yes.

far as I'm concerned, there's no "technical" in saving lives - the spirit of the law is evident here, and when the "spirit" of government is decrepit, no legislation in the world makes the letter of the law valid in any human sense. the law does not belong to legislators or lawyers, but to the people. if someone had defended "the law" in this case, they would be culpable, far moreso than this guy.

there's no point in "understanding" what theoretical arguements may or may not be made. this is partisan. the rest is just commentary.

If they arrest him, my next donation goes toward his bail, and defense if it comes to that.
