I hope word buffs will go farther than the extreme conciseness of that word-list. Skeat could distinguish four centuries' worth of usage in his head, of course, but the otherwise unassisted C21 reader is rarely so lucky--and one needs to distinguish usage for reading texts. I guess it's good for flavor.

A better source, though not online: Stratmann and Bradley's Middle English Dictionary, first published during Skeat's lifetime and reprinted most recently in 2004.
