Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

I finished my cards this morning (yay!), running after the postman barefoot in the snow so that he would take them away and put them in the mail for me. Then I straightened up the dining room and kitchen and then started work setting up tomorrow's Christmas breakfast. I made eggnog french toast (which I'll just pop in the oven tomorrow) and our traditional marinated rum fruit with pastry stars. It always takes me quite a while to prepare, but I had the advantage that I didn't have to work a half day today as I often have had to do on Christmas Eve (Rob was not as lucky. He was at work at 6:45 a.m. and is not home yet). I had a nice phone call with kijjohnson, too. My parents picked the girls up at noon and took them back to Minnetonka to my sister's house. I will join them for a church service at 4:30.
