Happy anniversary to my LiveJournal!

I started this LiveJournal a year ago today, as an early birthday present to myself. Schnoogles go to
queerasjohn and
heidi8, both of whom encouraged me to start one and offered me a code. I was rather nervous about the whole venture, but excited, too. It has turned out to be an overwhelmingly positive experience. I've made 447 journal entries, posted 752 comments, and received 2230 reply comments. Whew. Most importantly, I hoped that it would get me to start writing again, and it has done exactly that for me.
It's been a pleasure getting to know you all.
Cheers,
Peg

Date: 2003-04-29 10:07 am (UTC)Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, Happy Everything!
I now have a LiveJournal too (thanks to John) and have already made a few entries, despite not having checked out half the technical features of the system.
May I 'friend' you now? If you wish you may 'friend' me back (I'm having a hard time shaking the idea that 'friending' is like a rite of initiation, rather than just the press of a button. Also, if a friendship ends, do you 'unfriend' the person or tell them to 'friend' off?)
Neil, who won't get many 'friends' at this rate
Welcome to LiveJournal!
