I was on the phone with the school this morning, and as I was waiting on hold, I started looking around for my cell, phone, because I wanted to make sure I had it in my purse. I looked around in three rooms before it occurred to me that . . . yeah, duh. I was holding it in my hand.

I have done that more than once! I'll be on the phone walking out the door and looking around for my phone so that I have it when I leave.....dur.

Ok, how about this. More than once this week I've popped something into the microwave, and then when it was done, opened the refridgerator door to get it.
