Is that Rob in the window in the second-to-last picture? What a marvelous perspective!
And go Delia! I must say, reading all your posts and seeing all your karate pictures has me really intrigued -- I'm considering giving it a try once I'm done with grad school (and have free time again!).
Fierceness and beauty all rolled into one tiny package. She truely is amazing. By looks of things she is the youngest in that group as well...am I right?
The woman with the blue uniform with black piping is a black belt, first degree--she was testing for one of her section stars (they have to get three section stars to test for second degree). The woman in the blue uniform with red piping is just a brown stripe, but she is in the master black belt club, meaning that she has committed to continue until she reaches black belt second degree. The woman in the red uniform (one of our senseis, pazlazuli, who is becoming quite a good friend) is a black belt third degree. Sensei in the black uniform is fourth degree--you switch to black when you get your fourth degree.
