One of my college roommates told her father that she wanted a green and purple room. Since her room had blue carpet, he said it wouldn't work... until he saw her shampoo bottle, which was green, purple, and carpet-blue. He ended up taking the bottle into the paint store to match the colors. I'm a big fan of purple and green. The combination usually makes me happy.
