Oct. 5th, 2003 01:10 pmI went downstairs and found Fiona about to eat her lunch, that she'd chosen and prepared for herself. She's melted chocolate chips in the microwave and spread them on the inside of a hamburger bun.
Every feeling revolts.
That did it. I'm fleeing to the May Day Cafe for my own lunch. Away from my offspring.

Date: 2003-10-05 11:25 am (UTC)I've been known to butter whole wheat bread, arrange chocolate chips on it, and put it under the broiler. The only thing I can say in my favor is that I do this as a snack, not as a meal. But the distinction gets blurry pretty readily.
Have fun at the May Day. I like their food a lot, and it's full of vegetables.

Flee! Eat _good_ food.
