About 10 years ago, shortly after Giovanna bought Sue Grandys' house on 35th and Lyndale, Giovanna got me shaman lessons for a birthday present. The second or third class we had to take a journey through the underworld and find our totem animal.
Well, I ended up with a committee; a female beaver, a male otter, and a raven, so I decided to figure out what they meant. The otter and beaver were easy to understand, but when I "turned" to the raven it said, "Hey, I'm an archetype, so you'll never be able to "get" me, idiot."
