Well, here's some good news at least!

I didn't think we were going to do it. But despite our bad news, in the last 24 hours the universe has all sort of aligned itself in extremely surprising and generous ways, and gee, Rob doesn't have to ask for time off from his job anymore, does he?

So here's the news, and I hope people will be happy to see it:

Rob and I are going to Portus. And I'm going to have a lot of fun dancing to Ministry of Magic at the Ball.

So. How many of you will we see there?

And can we convince any more of you to go, given this news? We REALLLLLY need to see more people there!

And yes, I'm going to be there - Snape-ing it up the whole time. Snapefest will be fun, but we're also planning some (hopefully) good stuff for the Podcast-palooza (we're on between 11 and midnight right before Mugglecast). And I adore the Ministry boys. I still haven't quite figured out what I'll wear to the ball, but there's so much to look forward to.

Yes, I'll be happy to report. And depending on when you guys get there, you might still be able to join us for the Candlelight/Flashlight Vigil out by the pool after dinner. I'm not quite sure when that will be as dinner is scheduled for 7pm, but you can always keep your eyes on the pool and come down if you notice anything wacky going on! :D

*dances for you* Great news! I'm glad you'll be able to attend. You need this, and you'll have a wonderful time! I don't think I'll be able to attend, as I just cannot come up with the money for a ticket to Portus. I'm negative $85 in my checking account, thanks to all the money I've spent on the show but I'll be with you in spirit so dance, and at least use the time there to just forget about things for a while.

In re-reading my comment, I realize that I appear to be requiring you to come to my presentation when what I meant to say is that I can't wait to see you at Portus in general! Sorry about that.

My presentation is called 'Join the Audio Aurors!: Using the Freeware Program Audacity to Create Filks, Podcasts and More!' In spite of the unfortunate surplus of exclamation marks, it should be a good show. I'm hoping to be able to do real-time demonstrations.
