Remember when the Goblet of Fire promotional pictures came out and everyone was like, "My, Daniel Radcliffe, how you've grown"?

Well, apparently, the same thing's recently happened to Tom Felton. I've never been the least bit weak in the knees over everybody else's favorite Slytherin (those who weren't grooving on Snape, I mean). But wow.

Sneak peeks at movie 6. It's the second to last picture.

Well, there goes all references to Malfoy as "ferrety" in fanfic. Only the book purists will be able to do it with a straight face now. :)

Well, I suppose one could see the attraction--in a sort of pale Aryan way...

I've kinda always hated the comparisons of movie characters with my images from the books, but gah, he really has become quite handsome (in an evilly good way!).

I love the movies, but haven't read the books--does Malfoy remain cowardly, or does he toughen up as he gets older?

Oops. Let's try that again.

Well, let's say that book 6 is Draco's big moment. The books are about choosing what is right over what is easy. Draco's choice comes in this book. But what he does is that he fails to choose at the right moment--he delays a few crucial seconds too long to make up his mind. And then events are taken out of his hands and his fate is sealed.

So he doesn't choose the evil route. But, I think, as a result, although he doesn't go totally dark, he weakens himself.

Tom Felton looks so right for the part to me. Sadly that last photo of Alan Rickman looks strange. The costume and the angle makes him look as if he has a bust.

Ah, he does look much better when he's all evil. And they stopped giving him that horrible middle-part haircut.
