Went out for my mid-morning walk on the Stone Arch Bridge. There were about four cop cars on the end I approached. They stopped in a line. Two cops got out of the last car, and opened the back door. A little girl, about age eight or nine, got out of the back. I didn't see any other adult accompanying her.
Eventually, they all got back into the cars and drove over the bridge, stopping 3/4 of the way across. There were, as best as I could tell, two other cop cars already there. The front one had several people gathered around it.
I walk to a point halfway across the bridge on my midmorning walk and then turn back. I met another cop, on foot, heading toward the gaggle of cop cars on the opposite side of the bridge. "What's going on?" I asked, without any hope that he would tell me.
"Photos," he said.
"Photos?" I repeated, puzzled.
He nodded. "Photos." He walked on.
Oh.
Well, that was puzzling. No idea what was going on.
There are photos plastered all over the bridge of a woman who is missing. No idea if that's related.
