Well, I began research on figuring out where I could drop off an old cell phone for recycling, maybe charitable donation, but didn't get around to picking which entity/charity/program. I found it all sorta confusing. I think I will try to swing by a Best Buy or something later this week and see if they have a collection for old cell phones.

Date: 2009-01-14 12:35 am (UTC)When I last got my phone, the Verizon store I was in had a drop-off location for old phones that were then supposed to be donated to battered women organizations. I don't know if they still do such things (this was several years ago), but if they don't, they may know of some place that does.
