I really must at all costs remember that, after all, we are approaching the shortest days of the year, but that this is temporary. Lighter days will be coming soon. Must hang on to that.

I did do my light box today. And I will definitely do it tomorrow, too. I badly need it.

Sometimes, I feel like I hold my breath until Dec 21, when I know that at least the days will *start* to get longer. This is the price we pay for those long summer days that last until 10:00 PM.
Hang in there. I gotta get me one of them thar boxes.

Yes, keep up with the light box. It makes a big difference.

I have it on with my morning email and coffee. Jane usually does her morning organization -- do lists, bills, etc.

My daughter and I were using exactly this thought to console ourselves yesterday morning, as we left the house for work at 7 am in the dark. Just a few more days until the turning of the year, it'll start getting better soon, we can bear up that long.

I'm having problems with the cloudy days right now; it's very difficult to believe it's already 10am when there's no visible sun, and it feels more like 7am. I'm starting to track that I seem to get needier and more neurotic around this time of year, so I'm counting the days, too.

Oh, and my reactions to RotK were much like yours. A few friends and I went to Trilogy Tuesday (and I helped to run the line party with my roommate) and came out of the film feeling completely wrung out. Seeing it a second time on Wednesday afternoon solidified that I love the film, though I still have some problems with it, and think I actually like Fellowship best, still. This may well change when the EE arrives, since I know much of what I sorely missed will be included there.
