What I did today to make the world a better place: Listened to a friend who badly needed a listener. Had lunch with another friend, who is the director of a local twin cities non-profit. Gave him suggestion on how he could use Twitter to help with marketing, and followed up with an email, directing him to some resources regarding how nonprofits can use social networking.
