Interview today

Rob has an interview with the Census Bureau today. I don't know the details, but I gather it is a step up from the street level census worker and a step down from the managerial position for which he applied. It would be a two-year gig (which means it would run out right at the time Fiona's about to enter college). But hey, if he gets it, we'll take it.

And what an interesting job to add to his resume! Not necessarily from a future employer's standpoint--though I could see it being a good conversation-starter before settling into the future DreamJob Interview itself--but definitely from the standpoint of looking back over his life and saying, "I did that. It was something different, and kind of cool."
