My family is in town, so I haven't had as much time to be online as I'd like.

Still feeling the darkness of December. Down to the bone. Will be more chatty and human later, I hope.

For me, the worst was always February in NYC. One of the nice things about Madrid is that, even when the winter gets cold, it's often bright and sunny, with those clear-blue cliched Mediterranean skies. Makes a big difference. My writing-output when I lived in NY would always take a nose-dive in winter and by Feb I wasn't writing anything at all the entire month.
