Here's a guy who goes out of his way to make his job a little less hum-drum.

What I did today to make the world a better place: Bought a CSA share (a half share, from Goats and Gardens Farm). It was the cheapest half share I could find at the Seward Co-op CSA fair. We'll see if we use it all!

The CSAs are fantastic...My girlfriend and I made ALOT of great soups and stews over the summer with all the fantastic greens we got from our CSA...

Which one did you sign up with? I chose this one, frankly, because it's my first time, and it was the smallest share/cheapest I could find at the CSA fair I attended.

AHAHAHAHA. That was awesome. I've been lucky enough to be on two different flights that had jazzed-up safety spiels (this was in the day before video instruction was common); in one, the person doing the talking was normal but the demonstrator was outrageous. Another time, the demonstrator was normal but the person talking was hilarious. For example, as the oxygen masks were being demonstrated: "After you've finished screaming, take the mask and..."

We've talked seriously about buying into our just-started local market co-op, but haven't done it yet. It's tough, balancing trying to support local farmers and having fresher produce with the huge jump in price. :P
