La Belle et La Bête
May. 13th, 2009 10:18 pmI bought this movie today, one of my favorites of all time.
I cannot WAIT to show it to the girls.
What I did today to make the world a better place: Duh. I looked at the iPod stand/charger on my desk and thought, "I don't need to have that plugged in when the iPod's not in there, do I?" I am also starting to actually turn off my computer monitor when I leave at night. I'll try to go around the house and unplug unused appliances and chargers, to lessen electric load.

Date: 2009-05-14 04:29 am (UTC)I will always remember the first time I saw it, which was more than 20 years ago at my best friend's house. We decided afterward that the as yet un-named cat that her mom had just gotten looked exactly like La Bete. So we named her La Bete, and she was forever afterwards saying to us, "Marry me!" ;-)
I've been wanting to buy it on DVD, too.

Date: 2009-05-14 05:25 pm (UTC)In our local BC election on Tuesday they elected an anti-plastic shopping bag campaigner to the legislature (yeah!) but her party had a totally stupid "Axe the Tax" campaign against the carbon tax (boo!).
