Apparently, because I suck, I am just finding out now about certain cool tools that everyone else has been aware of for years, like Delicious bookmarking. LiveJournal has been giving me absolute fits, throwing me out of login every time I change a single page. LJ never bothered to get back to my support request, but I heard from
lapin_agile that the problem is a bug with Safari, which I've been using for browsing ever since I got my Mac.
Rats. All my bookmarks are on Safari. We have Firefox, but Rob's been using it, and it's all cluttered up with his bookmarks, rather than organized the way I like. Happily,
gwendolyngrace suggested checking out Delicious. That way I could have my bookmarks on Safari OR Firefox (or come to think of it, on Internet Explorer at my work computer, too.
So I spent the afternoon messing around with it. It didn't really take too long to add my crucial bookmarks. I'm sold. I like the tagging method; it allows a lot more cross-referencing for organization.
