Another short reprieve

Rob got called back for a two month temporary assignment with the U.S. Census. Of course, the last time they told him they were giving him a two-month full time job, it turned out to be a one month part time job.
I'm trying to be grateful. See how grateful I am? Really. Oh I'm so verrrrrry grateful.
Screw that.
I want him to get a job. A permanent job that he knows will last longer than a fricking couple of months. My car's being held together with spit, duct tape and bailing wire. Delia desperately needs braces. I haven't been able to save a penny for the girls for college for over two years. Delia can't even get into the high school she wants because the Minneapolis School Board is eliminating the possibility that she can even get into the high school of our choice. And we can't afford to repaint the house so we can sell it, much less afford the move into the right high school attendance area.
I don't want charity. I don't want an extension of unemployment. I am asking for the universe to cooperate so that my husband, who graduated from a great college, who has a law degree, can be ALLOWED to support his family.
No matter how much chocolate I eat, it doesn't help.
