I took the comments off, but I forgot about the snogs on my profile page. I'm up to a 1000 snogs now. Thanks, people. I'm feeling the love.

I'll try to write again tonight.

Don't want to go to work today, in a major way. Feh.

Lois McMaster Bujold has sent me seventeen chapters in manuscript of her new book *gloats*

[livejournal.com profile] kijjohnson is on her way to Japan. [livejournal.com profile] minnehaha B told me this weekend, "We're renting a house in France for several months. Stop on by and spend time with us, if you like. We'll put you up and feed you." I wish. Wah.

Glaring at it stuck is part of the process.

You can't hate it any more than I do, but it really is part of the process.

Glare at it every day.

[livejournal.com profile] rysmiel recently redefined the job of "taking the recycling out on Monday morning" as "swearing about having failed to take out the recycling after work on Mondays" and has only forgotten it once since. So maybe if you don't raise the barrier by saying you're going to write, but say you're going to glare, that might help a bit.

*jealous* over the new Bujold manuscript! And how close is she to finishing it?

I'm not sure, frankly, how much of the sum total these chapters constitute, and I haven't read far enough to be able to say.

I wish I could go to Minnesota and watch your kids so that you could go to France. Because you should get to go to France.

I'll watch your kids!

Umm... you're going to leave the 17 chapters in the house somewhere, right?

Dropping this comment back here, where only you are likely to see you.

Um, Hi.

May I imbroil you in a conspiracy, please?

Excerpt from recent interview by Lois Bujold:

"What is the question that you wish someone would ask?

“Would you like a back rub?”

Given that you and she know each other ... don't suppose you could recommend a good spa that's relatively local to her house?

We're thinking setting her up a tab might be a fun conspiracy.

Thanks for thinking of me! Hmm . . . did some searching. . .

This site I've been to myself and I had a lovely time. It's about ten minutes away from Lois's house by car, very convenient. Note that you get $10 off for mentioning the site--and note that the reviews are mixed.

Here is a list of other salons in and around Edina, where Lois lives. I suggest you browse around and see if one of them strikes your fancy. The reviews will help you decide. Hope this helps! What a great idea for Lois.

Cheers,
Peg
