This is a quick, surreptitious, illicit update from my computer at work. Home computer has experienced catastrophic meltdown. Cause unknown. Fortunately, all data seems to have survived, but all programs (starting with Windows) must be reinstalled. Rob will begin work on it today, but it may take a while, and I will not be able to send or receive e-mail nor read my friends page until the process is complete.

I miss you all.

Wow. That sounds like an all-too-typical Windows disaster. Congratulations on saving all your data; that's the stuff of real value.

Randomly, I just finished reading Emerald House Rising and I loved it. It was excellent. Funny and sweet and exciting and just all-around well written. :) I'm going to pick up Wild Swans as soon as I can. :D

Let me know if I can help. I haven't done technical support since '97 or so.. but the family still uses me in that capacity frequently. -Fletch
