The language of Fio
Feb. 26th, 2004 06:52 amFiona has invented a nonsense language for herself, which, with pretty egotism, she has named "Fio" (which is pronounced "Pho.") Speaking Fio means jabbering syllables at her sister, who gamely speaks them right back to her, often at dinnertime.
I wonder how long this interest in Fio will last. It's been several weeks, and there have been no signs of it tapering off yet.

Fiona is probably a genius, but at times like this that can be little comfort. ;) This too shall pass. (We hope; I wonder whether teaching my son REAL sign language will jolt him out of this.)
