The list of people who have friended me has now climbed to 400. I must admit to being a little surprised at this, as I have the niggling suspicion that I've been rather boring lately. Please satisfy my curiosity: how did you find my journal? And why the heck do you keep reading it?

Well, I've had you friended for a good long time, so I apologize if this is unnecessary or if I already answered the question at some point or something, but:
1) I found your journal because I was talking about some other writer's livejournal that I enjoy and my good friend eeyorerin recommended yours and she said you were the one who wrote that Wild Swans book that I'm (still) saving up for the ultimate in rainy days because it looks so good, and thus I found you.

2) Um, because I'm in the habit and I think you're interesting and I like to hear about your writing things (even when it isn't going well) and along the way I've developed a readerly affection for you.
