The list of people who have friended me has now climbed to 400. I must admit to being a little surprised at this, as I have the niggling suspicion that I've been rather boring lately. Please satisfy my curiosity: how did you find my journal? And why the heck do you keep reading it?

*thoughtfully* I don't remember for sure...I /think/ I came here after finding Pamela Dean's LJ, and going through a spate of stalking authors I recognized.

I came in while you were laying out the groundwork for your current book-in-progress, and that was fascinating. Part of the reason I'm still here is that I'm hoping to find out more, eventually.

For now, I read because your life is interesting, and you write about it well. I like hearing bits about your kids, because I don't have any. And, well...you don't write enough that I get swamped. So I might as well leave you on!
