The list of people who have friended me has now climbed to 400. I must admit to being a little surprised at this, as I have the niggling suspicion that I've been rather boring lately. Please satisfy my curiosity: how did you find my journal? And why the heck do you keep reading it?

I actually think you friended me first. I first read it because you were the author of The Wild Swans and Emerald House Rising, two books I loved - and now I read it because you have interesting things to say.
