We have a Make Way for Ducklings line of bronze statues in the Public Garden in Boston. Ducklings following a mama duck next to the path. I can't think of any others that already exist, and somehow can't come up with any new ones I'd put in here.
HP7 while I was on a family trip in the UK. I gathered with some fannish friends to read, and then went back to join my parents & brother in London. My brother and I spent some time walking Tottenham Court Road, which was right by our guest house, to see if we could find a cafe we could decide had been the one the trio visits when they apparate from the wedding. We did find one we liked as a candidate, and took photos. It would have been cool to mark it somehow, if JKR and the cafe owners had agreed. Then when the film came out and they'd switched it to Shaftesbury Ave. I wondered if maybe that cafe had gotten too many gawkers (ie not enough of them paying) or something, but kinda doubted most people would have taken the time. They probably switched it cos of filming availabilities but I was sad not to see Tottenham Court get its bit of time in the sun.
