Yep, we're still finding a few live ones. Three (v. small ones) found in an hour spent combing through Delia's hair.

Argh. I'm still sending her to school tomorrow. We'll comb out every day (and I vacummed the car seat again), continue washing her bedding, and we'll treat again next Thursday.

Don't know what else to do.

Anecdotal but it worked for us.. while fighting this in conventional ways, switch the girls to Head & Shoulders shampoo for a while-- the rest of the school year, maybe, after all the trouble you've had. It makes the head and scalp just a bit less hospitable, might save you another attack if they're running around their school, as I suspect.

Amazingly enough, coca cola is good. it will disolve the eggs. and it gets the lice daze enough that its easier to catch them when you comb them out...
