alisgray just sent me these fantastic pictures of a snow and ice festival in China, with a truly stunning ice palace, and other massive ice sculptures. I've never seen such spectacular ice palace photos. Thanks so much!
hey, how could I *not tell you? they're ohsovery mythopoetic. especially the climbing the ice wall one, reminds me of the tale about the girl who clomb the mountain of glass. And the pictures of all the buildings remind me of Tolkien's Father Christmas letters somehow.
