Weed the lawn of dandelions
Sweep the porch
Clean off the porch furniture
Buy the girls new bicycle helmets
Buy stuff for the garden
Weed the garden beds
Put the gardens in (vegetables in the vegetable garden, impatiens in the front garden, pink flowers in the pink garden, and I dunno, something else, I haven't figured out what yet in the garage garden. And petunias in the white planters and new planters in the front, and put geraniums in them).
Figure out how to caulk the concrete area in the back of the house so weeds don't grow between the cracks.
Balance my checkbook
File all the paperwork in my office. There are stacks of it
Buy a new PDA
Arrange dumpster rental
Continue sorting and pre-staging the stuff in the basement
Do some more thinking/planning about other stuff throughout the house for de-clutter operation in two weeks.
See what we can donate to ARC (clothes, toys, etc.), which is picking up household stuff on Tuesday
Clean the house. Kitchen floor, bathroom, pick up living room, etc.
Arrange to have the tub re-sealed
Snake out the slowly draining bathtub
Get the carpets cleaned
Get the ducts cleaned
Buy new jeans and pants. My jeans have holes in them, and my other pants are just worn out

*Sigh* I look at this list and feel very, very tired.

This may be a losing battle. My friend doccross suggested spraying my weeds with plain white vinegar to be rid of them; might be an easier solution to your problem.

Your list is missing an important item: write.

Life's to-do list consists of urgent stuff and important stuff (as well as the small day-to-day stuff). The trick is figuring out which is which and then not putting off the important stuff because of the stuff that is merely urgent.
