This has been one of those weeks....

That begins in the worst possible way, that increases in suffering as the week goes on, and that you can't wait to escape...except for the difficulty afterwards because you can't stop turning it over and over in your mind.

I'm reminded of the first line of the novel Daddy-Long-Legs: "The first Wednesday in every month was a Perfectly Awful Day--a day to be awaited with dread, endured with courage, and forgotten with haste." Change 'day' to 'week' and you have the idea.

Really, I would be so much happier if this week had never happened.
