Our power is out

pegkerrWe've had a series of huge storms here in Minneapolis the last few days. There was another one last night that knocked out our power at about 8 pm, and it's expected to be out for three days. Trees fell all over the neighborhood, including our neighbor's directly across the street from us. FORTUNATELY it missed Rob's car by a few feet (I posted a picture on Twitter and Facebook).
Rob has been sick for four days. Since he's still considered a part-time employee, he doesn't get sick time. Which is unfortunate, because we're going to lose everything in our fridge and freezer.
I'm updating this at Augsburg Library....I accompanied Fiona to work so that I could use the library's power grid to charge my devices.
Oh, hey, Fiona just got a text from Rob that our power is back up. Yay!
More storms expected tonight. Let's hope it stays up.
