is here. On a very quick scan through it I found one error: it says I "write with" Caroline Stevermer ([livejournal.com profile] 1crowdedhour). I wish! This is a little misleading: I've met Caroline at coffeeshops and written with her, but she writes actual books with Pat Wrede. But otherwise, it captures a good sense of the flavor of the conversation we had.

That's a lovely interview; very lively! Hee, when I was 14 I wrote Pat Wrede the t00biest letter. Fangirl to the end.

Thanks so much for putting up that link! Each speaker made comments characteristic of the voice I've learned through reading and rereading their fiction; about a third of the way through I began reading the comments without the names to guess at the speaker. Was usually right!

That was a very nice interview. Plus it mentioned several interesting books to look for.

Thanks for the link to that interview. It was quite interesting. I haven't read anything by Morehouse or Arnason. I think I'll look for their books the next time I'm at a bookstore though. I liked your comment about all of you being allergic to "either/or" thinking where romance vs. other relationships is concerned. I think that's part of why I like the writings of the various authors interviewed. Books where the characters are too wrapped up in their romance to have any other relationships often feel less than real, and if the characters seem less than real, then I tend not to find the book interesting enough to want to read.
