Bug Me Not

Here's a site I really like: Bug Me Not. If, like me, you balk at the requirement of a lot of news sources to register a user name and e-mail address (who the hell wants to receive all that spam, for god's sake?), you can go to Bug Me Not, put in the URL of the news source you're interested in, and it will give you a log in that you can use to read the article you want to see.

This is truly a great thing, but I must admit that I was hoping you had discovered a source of a 100% effect biting-insect repellent, preferably one that keeps the little parasites at least a foot away from a person rather than causing them to come RIGHT UP TO EVERY INCH OF YOU, do the insectile equivalent, of "Ewwwww" and THEN DO IT AGAIN.

Sorry. If I just read all those news sources using this handy site, I won't have to go outside until fall.

Heh. I know exactly what you mean. I've not been doing any weeding to speak of in the last few weeks because the mosquitoes have been so bloody awful.

Oh, yes, my weeds also flourish for similar reasons. I don't recall, as a rule, getting to this state much before the end of July.
