When mine has a fever sometimes we have to do the alternating meds thing as someone was mentioning before - Motrin alternated with Tylenol, every 3 hours. Sometimes it takes them both to bring it down. I don't do it for more than 48 hours because I don't want to blow her poor little liver all to shreds, but, it can really help at least make her comfortable.
