I am a relatively rare bird.

I keep trying to convince my family members to start livejournals. They read and enjoy mine, but so far have refused.

By the way, several have askd to see pictures of the new haircut. I do not have the technical wherewithall to post a picture (although daedala, if I e-mail you one, can you post it on the website and send me the link?), but Rob fixed the webcam that I use on Yahoo last night, and I'll set it to view the next several days. Look for my Yahoo name, bluesox4113, and request to view if I'm on line.

Wrote a smidgen today

I have been extremely undisciplined lately and have not written at all, other than in this LJ. I have allowed Other Stuff (some of it fun, some of it mindless drivel) to squeeze my writing time out of my life. The guilt has been building up to a toxic level.

Today, I squeezed some back in. I wrote a scene where Solveig walks between the pallets of ice blocks at the lake, before they are trucked to the site. Very short, less than a page.

But it's words on a page.

Will try more tomorrow.
