Attention, lurkers

Gacked mostly verbatim from nmalfoy: Lurkers out there, yo, today's your day. Whether you're a LJ-lurker or from someplace outside reading this journal, you are the reason this journal isn't locked by default. So, come out and say 'hi' or something. Tell me what you're doing here, how you feel, who you are, whatever. Today's the day to seize and be un-shy for once.

AND tell if you are a regular reader of this journal or just like to drop in when I'm being snarky or whatever. You can tell me what you like and what you don't like about it. It's okay; I'd like to know, and I have pretty thick skin. Well, usually.

Delia has her new blue stripe belt!

The test was a bit different in format and great fun to watch, because they were demonstrating all the take downs (sweeps, etc.) they'd learned this week, stuff that usually black belts are demonstrating. Delia had such fun with the tornado kick that she did it twice, since her partner holding the target wasn't being evaluated, so she didn't need to hold a target for him.

I was very relieved that Delia got her new belt. Fiona is now considered a month ahead of Delia.

Tips for peeling feet?

In other earth-shaking news, the bottoms of my feet, now that I'm in sandals for the summer, are peeling horribly. I tried a pumice stone on the rough patches and slathering Vaseline on them at night; but they are not in the least impressed by my efforts.

How do you keep your feet from flaking away?
