Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays
Dec. 24th, 2005 03:32 pmI finished my cards this morning (yay!), running after the postman barefoot in the snow so that he would take them away and put them in the mail for me. Then I straightened up the dining room and kitchen and then started work setting up tomorrow's Christmas breakfast. I made eggnog french toast (which I'll just pop in the oven tomorrow) and our traditional marinated rum fruit with pastry stars. It always takes me quite a while to prepare, but I had the advantage that I didn't have to work a half day today as I often have had to do on Christmas Eve (Rob was not as lucky. He was at work at 6:45 a.m. and is not home yet). I had a nice phone call with
kijjohnson, too. My parents picked the girls up at noon and took them back to Minnetonka to my sister's house. I will join them for a church service at 4:30.
Have a wonderful holiday, everyone. Travel safely, and keep those candles burning.
Love,
Peg
