Space camp fundraising in general

Since quite a few of you have asked, I am going to be posting information about the Space Camp Delia will be attending because--let's be blunt--we have to raise money to make it possible for her to go. This post will be about the fundraising in general. I will follow it, periodically, with information about the various specific fundraiser events we will be holding periodically until she leaves to attend the camp in May.

Space camp fundraising event: Galaxyquest on January 30

On Monday, January 30 at 7:00 p.m., Reach for the Stars, the 501(c)(3) organization which is raising money to send Minneapolis kids to Space Camp, will be renting the Riverview Theater for a special showing of the movie Galaxy Quest. We have rented the entire theater for this fundraiser. Please come with your friends, and your $5.00 ticket (a tax-deductible contribution) will help send a child to Space Camp. The theater address is 3800 - 42nd Avenue South, Minneapolis (at E. 38 St. and 42nd Ave. S.) Tickets are available at the door. Thanks.
