A charming respite
Nov. 4th, 2006 09:55 pmWe had a terrific day, very different than our usual Saturday. Today was the day the girls recorded the children's choir music. The taping lasted four hours this morning, and they received $100 each! So no karate this morning. The taping was done in Stillwater, a lovely river town. I drove them there and dropped them off at the church where they were doing the recording, and then I had just a wonderful morning, reading the paper in a coffee shop, browsing in gift shops, antique shops and a bookstore. I had sushi for lunch, virtuous AND delicious. I picked up the girls at 1:00, we browsed through the town a bit more, and stopped at an apple orchard for apple cider and apples on the way home. It was a fun and really relaxing day.
