Macy's

I haven't talked with her yet, but I believe my sister Cindy was one of the people who lost her job when they folded the Macy's management office here in Minneapolis yesterday. She worked there for over fifteen years and was quite senior. Heaven knows what she's going to do now, since she's going to be competing with all her former coworkers for work in fashion merchandising. Over 950 people lost their job and hey, it's a recession; what awful timing. Her husband is self-employed, but his business just started up and isn't enough to support their family yet.
