Article on Gred and Forge
Jun. 16th, 2008 09:10 amThe North Carolina wizard rock band Gred and Forge, creation of one Jarrod Perkins, was featured in the latest issue of Performer magazine. The piece discusses wizard rock in general, Jarrod’s muggle life, and other subjects.
In the article, Jarrod explains, "I feel like I’m not encouraging fans to read as much, because these people are already reading," Perkins explains. "They wouldn’t be into this genre or even know about it if they weren’t readers in the first place."
You can read the rest of it here. Photos are included.
The latest cut from his EP We Had Class is up today, "History of Magic." I think all five have been posted by now. I've been enjoying them. And I just got the Gred and Forge CD from the Wizard Rock EP of the Month Club, too, and that was fun, too.
